United Methodist Women at HPUMC is an active group of women who are working to fulfill the UMW purpose.  

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is:

• To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ.
• To develop a creative supportive fellowship.
• To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The Purpose is adopted by the General Conference of the United Methodist Church as the official mission statement of United Methodist Women. Out of the Purpose are four mission foci:

• To be a community of women
• To know God
• To develop a creative and supportive fellowship
• To expand concepts of mission

There are three "circles" which make up our UMW unit:

• Rebekah Circle which meets on the third Wednesday of each month in members' homes at 9:30 a.m.
• Elizabeth Circle which meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the church at 1:15 p.m.
• Saturday Fellowship Circle meets on the second Saturday of each month at the church at 9 a.m.

The UMW executive team meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. 

The unit meetings vary from month to month.  Consult your program book or the church calendar for more information.
